Getting started with Qivreno

1. Install

Download the app from qivreno.ai/download, open the .dmg, and drag Qivreno to Applications. First launch starts your 14-day full-featured trial. No account needed.

2. Let the Concierge set you up

Click “Set up with the Concierge” on the empty board. It interviews you about your business (a few friendly questions), saves a Business Profile into your Library, and hires the team of agents that fits. Prefer manual? ✨ Quick Start Team offers ready-made teams (Small Business, Software, Finance & Back Office, Marketing Studio, Customer Care) plus 20+ specialist roles, all editable.

3. Choose your AI

• Built-in AI (recommended to start): one click in Settings or any backend picker downloads a local model sized to your Mac and runs it privately on-device. No accounts, no usage fees.
• Ollama / LM Studio: already run local models? Qivreno auto-detects them.
• Claude / Codex: for the strongest results, connect the Claude Code or Codex CLI with your existing subscription. Local models automatically take over if a cloud backend is ever unavailable.

4. Work the board

Type a task and hit Dispatch to route it to the best-suited agent, or drop it in the backlog for later. Agents move their cards from To Do → In Progress → Review; you drag finished work to Done. Chat with any agent directly from the sidebar, and give feedback the same way you would with a new hire.

5. Files, Library, and memory

• Files: deliverables land in the shared folder as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and dashboards. Export to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF with one click.
• Library: your business profile, policies, and agent-documented processes. Everything here guides every agent, every task.
• Memory: each agent maintains a private memory; the team shares a common one. Both are editable in the Library.

Activating a subscription

When your trial ends (or sooner), subscribe at qivreno.ai/pricing. You’ll get a one-time activation code. Paste it into Settings → Subscription and you’re done. The app renews its license automatically in the background.

Troubleshooting

• A backend shows “not set up”: click it anywhere it appears for a step-by-step setup guide with a “Check again” button.
• Agents feel slow on Built-in AI: local speed depends on your Mac’s memory. Macs with 16 GB+ get a larger, smarter model automatically.
